Puppy Update #2

It is that time once again time for another puppy update. Faith is doing so good you guys. She is still very energetic and curious and everyday is something new with her. We love her so much and she is so much fun to be around. Seriously, there is never a boring moment with her.

So Faith is now a little over six months and will be seven months on January 21,2018. With her being six months we did decide to get her fixed back in December. She has healed up amazingly and surprisingly did not try to lick her incision at all. That was one of the biggest concerns because she’s young and curious and like any animal licks her self. All she has left on her from the procedure is this tiny little scab which will come off on its own; we just don’t want to mess with it. Like I said she is very healthy and perfectly fine and started acting like herself just a few hours after she got home from the vet that day.

Again she is six months almost seven and has now reached her full size. She is so tiny and adorable and people are usually surprised at how small she is. Our last dachshund was considered a miniature dachshund but she was defiantly bigger than Faith is. Little Faith is at her full size her weight being eight and half pounds our last dachshund Mitzi was about fourteen pounds. So compared to Mitzi Faith is definitely tiny but we love how small she is.

She has found a love for toys epically stuffed toys. She has three of them right now, dinosaur, a little lamb chop, and a little purple dog. She loves and plays with all of them most of the day. But I think she likes her little lamb and dog because they are smaller and easier to carry around the house. It’s so cute to see her just pick one up from the bed and run off with it.

Faith is definitely a cuddle bug she really loves to cuddle. But she’s bossy too which always makes us laugh. If my dad or I have our laptops in our laps she will get upset and bark at us until we move them so she can get in our laps. She really is the best cuddle buddy and ready to cuddle any time of the day.

Faith is definitely a part of the family and is loved by everyone. She is so cute and sweet it’s really easy to love. Everyday she’s learning and discovering something new. So that makes everyday an adventure with her and we don’t really know what to expect each day. But that makes it exciting I swear we fall more in love with her everyday she is just so precious. So that is my puppy update #2 and I hope you enjoyed it because I think I am going to be doing these from time to time. So yeah I hope you like learning more about Faith and that you enjoyed it.
