Summer has ended and it has finally started to feel like fall here in North Florida. I am Christmas baby my Birthday is on Christmas day. So I do love the fall and winter seasons more than the summer. Don’t get me wrong I still think summer is amazing. I live in Florida though and nine months out of the year it feels like summer here so once we start getting some fall weather I do get very excited. I have many fall favorites this year some new and some old but still my favorite. Let’s just get into my favorites for the 2021 fall season.
BATH & BODY CANDLES
I mentioned the candles so I’ll obviously have to let you know which ones are my favorites. I’ve been going with the same three fall scents for the last 3 years now. They are always my go to and the first ones I grab when I am at Bath & Body for fall candles. Those scents are marshmallow pumpkin latte, caramel pumpkin swirl, and pumpkin pecan waffles. I already burned through the pumpkin pecan waffles one and I started burning my caramel pumpkin swirl candle. I love these candles so much and they smell so good. I just think of fall when I smell these candles. The things I love about these candles are I don’t have to burn them long before I start smelling them. I also love that even when I blow them out I still smell them for hours. These are my favorite candles and probably always will be.
DARK LIPS DARK NAILS
I love wearing darker colors like maroons, burgundy’s, and black. These colors are not very summery so when the fall season comes around and I can wear them I am very happy. I especially love dark nails and dark lipstick again which are more fall colors than summer ones. My favorite dark red nail polish right now is Sally Hansen quick dry nail polish in cinna-snap. My favorite dark lipstick is Maybelline super stay matte ink lip color in the shade voyager. Both of these products are dark enough for me and I absolutely love them.
SWEATERS & HOODIES
I love the cooler weather because I get to wear my sweaters and hoodies. One of my favorite hoodies the one I actually wear all the time is this Shawn Mendes hoodie I’ve had for years now. I think this hoodie was apart of one of his first merch releases so its definitely not on his website anymore. It is my favorite hoodie to wear though its so soft and oversized which makes it even more comfortable. The next item sweaters I love sweaters and for someone that lives in Florida I defeintly have more than I need. I do live in North Florida so we do get cooler weather here than South Florida gets so thankfully I do get to wear these sweaters. These black and green sweaters I got last year from Belks they are the same sweaters just different colors. This new mustard yellow and white striped sweater is from Kohls. I just got it a few weeks ago and have finally had the chance to wear it. I love all three of them they are so soft, comfortable, and light weight which is perfect for our Florida fall and winter.
LEGGINGS & JEGGINGS
I love the time of year when I can comfortably wear leggings or jeggings. I know a lot of people love leggings form lulu’s or fabletics but my favorite place to get leggings is Aerie which is where all of why leggings are from. They are so comfortable and now that it is cool enough to wear them I wear them more than I probably should. I love how Aerie’s leggings fit me and also the fact that they have pockets the pockets on them are the best part. I already have two black pairs, a burgundy pair, a grey pair, and a pink pair but I will definitely be getting more of these leggings. For my leggings which I do prefer more than actual jeans because I work with kids and jeggings are just easier to move in than actual jeans. I get my jeggings from Hollister I have tried jeggings from other stores but the one I have from Hollister are what work best for me. I also have quite a few pairs of these jeggings and I still want more. They are so comfortable to wear and my favorite pair to wear are definitely my light wash ones.
BOOTS
I love ankle boots they are the types of boots that I have the most pairs of. Ankle boots I feel are a lot better for the Florida fall weather you can definitly where knee high boots in Florida. Just for my self I prefer ankle boots. My favorite pair I own that I wear a lot are my tan high heeled combat ankle boots. They are actually very comfortable for being high heels which is why I wear them all the time. Like I said I do have more than these but this pair is definitely my favorite to wear.
CARDIGANS
I do have quite a few cardigans in my closet and they usually are my go to clothing item to complete a outfit during the fall season. My favorite cardigan I have would have to be my rust colored one being that is one of my favorite colors which makes this cardigan my favorite and go to cardigan. I do love all the cardigans I have but the rust one is usually the one I grab first. Cardigans are such a great clothing item to dress up with jeans and boots or dress down with leggings and vans which is why I have so many cardigans in my closet that I love.
TOO FACED BORN THIS WAY THE NATURAL NUDES PALETTE
I love this palette I got it for Christmas last year and it is perfect for the fall season. It has got some very pretty pink and brown shades. Along with some very pretty metallic and shimmery shades too. I actually used this palette to do my make up for my older brothers wedding back in February. It was perfect for it and with it I was able to achieve the look I was going for. Since I keep my make up very light for during the summer, I love this palette for the fall and winter seasons.
I definitly have more favorites for this season but if I were to list all of them this would be a very very long post. These are a few of my top fall season favorites. I love seeing these post because I feel like I always find something new; whether it be a new clothing item maybe a new clothing brand or maybe a new make up item.
