My Spring Break

Sadly spring break has come to an end for me. Even sadder than that my cousin has gone home to Connecticut. We had such an amazing time and I wish she could be here everyday for the rest of my life. We had a pretty busy spring break and we’re constantly doing something so I though I would share it with you.

Friday March 8, 2019

Tiffany got to the airport around 10:50am so we had a full day of activities for us to do. First we went home so she could drop off her stuff at the house, then we went out to lunch at our giant shopping center here. After lunch since we were at the shopping center we did decide to do some shopping. We actually ended up getting matching dresses from one of the boutiques there and they are super cute. After we were done shopping we went back to the house. Joey, my younger brother, had a baseball game that night and Tiffany had never seen him play before so she wanted to see it.

Saturday March 9, 2019

Saturday a brand new full day together and since Tiffany does live in Connecticut and there is still snow on the ground she does not get to go to the beach. So that is something she was really looking forward to here. We pretty spent the whole after noon there on Saturday. Also, something happened when we were there that I was not happy about; I GOT SUNBURNED. It’s so annoying because I usually tan pretty good, but I get burned at least once every year. Since this was the first time I laid out in the sun this year I did burn. But it is starting to turn in to a tan now so it’s ok. I don’t have a pool myself but we do have a neighborhood pool that I can go to anytime. So now I can go lay out in the sun in the mornings before I have to go to work.

Sunday March 10, 2019

Sundays means church time. I’m a pastor’s daughter so I don’t get the option to skip a Sunday. So we went to church Sunday morning and then went back to the shopping center for lunch. My dad had a church meeting at the house that afternoon so we wanted to get out of the way so we went to the zoo. I love the zoo and I have a yearly pass because I take the kids I nanny there all the time during the Summer. I really love our zoo it’s so nice. They also have an amazing new tiger exhibit that is indoors an air conditioned. So you can literally sit there and watch the tigers all day. It’s my new favorite thing to do. After the zoo we went home and the meeting was still going on but when everyone left, we had a major dance party.

Monday March 11, 2019

Monday was a little bit more of a chill day. We did a lot on Sunday so we were definitely tired. So we just spent the day at home relaxing and watching movies, until it was time to go to Joey’s game. He had a three day baseball tournament during the week.

Tuesday March 12, 2019

On Tuesday, we went back to the beach since again Tiffany can’t go just yet at home because it is still cold there and there is snow on the ground. We didn’t stay at the beach as long as we did on Saturday because it was a little cooler and the wind is was blowing. But on the way home from the beach we saw that my neighborhood pool was finally open. So we went to the house got the key for the gate to pool and spent about 2 hours there. Again joey had a baseball tournament so we went home showered the beach and pool off us. Then went to the game.

Wednesday March 13, 2019

Wednesday was somewhat sad because it was Tiffany’s last day here. We were so sad, that we literally just spent the day eating talking and spending time together. We really didn’t know what we were going to do on this day because we had already done so much the previous days. So that morning or afternoon we just went to Starbucks sat outside in the sun and had a drinks. After Starbucks we were hungry obviously because we love food. So we decided to go to one of my favorite places, Panera. I really do love Panera and since it is so close to me I get food from there often. This was the last day of the baseball tournament so we went to the last game that evening.

Thursday March 14, 2019

One word that was used this whole day was NOOOOOOOOOOOO! It was time for Tiffany to go back home to Connecticut and I was so sad I wanted to cry. She’s like my sister and she lives so far away I didn’t want her to leave. But Sadly she had to so we decided to go have lunch at an actual restaurant instead of getting fast food like we had been doing. So we went to Chili’s which is always good. After Chili’s we had to go home so Tiffany could pack. We wanted to take some pictures in our matching dresses. After the photos were taken it was time for Tiffany to pack up and get ready to go to the airport; cue the tears. We had maybe forty minutes before she had to go through security. So we spent the time getting Starbucks and looking in the shops at the airport. But, then sadly it was time for her to go so we said good bye by giving each other about fifty hugs and then sent her through security.

Our week was so amazing and so much fun, but now it has come to end and we have to go back to reality of work for me and school for her. We made so many memories and have so many inside jokes that will last forever. I can’t wait until we see each other again. This really was the best spring break I have had in years.
