Im Feeling 22… Sorry my birthday was on Christmas day I turned twenty two and haven’t had the chance to say that on here yet. But, since I won’t be posting on New Years Day… Happy New Year everyone welcome to 2019. I hope it is going good for you. 2018 was definitely an interesting year with its’ up’s and down’s, but we made it through. Through 2018 my photography and editing styles changed multiple times and it shows on my Instagram. I always have a hard time picking a theme and sticking with it. I really do love how a theme looks but I could never really get mine to look the way I wanted it to. But, recently I made a preset on light room that I am very pleased with. So we are going to jump in and see how my Instagram theme has progressed through the year.Â
January 2018
Welcome to the beginning of my Instagram in 2018. I started this year year with more of a cool toned theme, featuring the colors of greens, blues and pinks. I actually kept this theme for awhile and was very proud of it. This theme really technically started on December 26,2017 and ended on March 7, 2018.
March 2018
Now moving on to March where my feed was still slight cool tones but with brighter colors. The color theme palette for this theme was more oranges/corals, teals and mint blues. I actually love this theme for awhile and kind of brought these colors back on my theme later on. This theme started on March 6,2018 and ended on May 18,2018.
May 2018
Hello May, so this theme was slightly darker and deeper colors. The color theme palette for this theme still has those greens and blues but also had yellows, burnt oranges. This theme did not last very long because I got bored with it. This theme started on May 18,2018 and ended on June 16,2018.
June 2018
June is really where I moved away from cool tones for editing and really fell in love with warm tones. This theme was warm and rosy and I loved it. I did and sometimes still do most of my editing on VSCO. Now, I mostly use Lightroom. But this theme ended sooner than I wanted to because my VSCO account messed and got rid of all my photos and presets made on it. So this theme started on June 16,2018 and ended on August 12, 2018
August 2018
Since VSCO like I said before messed up and lost all my photos and presets for the previous theme. I did have another theme before this one but it was around a long time. So, that is why I decided to skip ahead to this one. This theme was actually my Fall theme that at the time I liked but started very early. Which is why I think I didn’t like it as much as when I first made it, Because, it did really look like a fall theme. The color palette for this theme was oranges, greens, and browns. At the time I did like it but now looking back at it it’s not something I’m super proud of. This theme started on August 29, 2018 and ended on October 2, 2018.
October 2018
We are now in October where my more visually pleasing Fall theme started. I really did love this theme so much more than the previous one and still love it. With this theme it was a little more darker and moodier, but it definitely gave me some fall vibes. I personally think it was so much better than my previous Fall theme and even better than the 2017 Fall theme. This theme started on October 6, 2018 and ended on November 24, 2018.
December 2018
Hello Christmas, my favorite time of the year especially for my instagram. I actually planned this theme for over a month I think. I started planning it back in October and had it officially planned sometime in November. Sadly, I did not get to post as much as I wanted to with this theme but December was a month. I still have a few more photos to add to this theme so I don’t have an end date for it yet. But no matter how much I got to post with this theme I am so in love with how it turned out. Again, I think this was one of my best themes and definitely my best Christmas theme yet. This theme started on November 24,2018 and again has not ended quite yet but sadly will be soon probably after New years.
The year is coming to an end it is time to say good bye to 2018 and Hello to 2019. I have already been planning my new theme for 2019 and have been planning it for a few weeks now. Not sure how long this theme will stay around because as you can see I change my theme pretty often. But I do like how this new theme looks so hopefully it will stay around for awhile. 2018 was an interesting year and hopefully 2019 will be so much better. I hope you all found this interesting. I saw on instagram everyone was making colleges of their favorite post of the year so I decided to do this instead. So again Happy New Year everyone. I hope you all have an amazing News Year’s Eve and Day.
