Our new puppy, Faith is doing so amazing and has such a personality already. We got Faith from a breeder in North Carolina on September 3, 2018. She is a pie bald miniature dachshund and only weighs seven pounds. It doesn’t seem like she’s going to be getting much bigger. Her parents were tiny as well at seven to eight pounds. So there is basically no chance of her getting much bigger. But it’s ok because we love how tiny she is.
She was born June 21, 2018 and is now four months old and so cute. The breeder told us Faith had three brothers so she is very bossy. She is quite bossy but she’s cute enough to get away with everything. Her personality is so funny and she really keeps us on our toes and makes us laugh.
Faith is so cuddly and playful. She could be bouncing around a playing one minute, then passed out in our laps the next. Since she is only four months she does have some teeth coming in which means she’s teething. She nibbles on our fingers and when she’s really playful and sometimes on our noses and ears. She’s never bitten anyone with the purpose of hurting them. She really is so sweet and friendly.
When I say she keeps us on our toes I really mean it. She is only four months, a baby still, so she’s curious. She’s always trying to get into something she shouldn’t but, whenever we catch her she gives us these puppy eyes that make it very very hard to be mad at her. My dad and I joke thats it’s like having a little kid in the house. We have to keep an eye on her and know where she’s at all the time. Also, we have to make sure she doesn’t have something in her mouth that she shouldn’t have like a hair tie. One of her favorite toys that we find her with a lot of the time is tissue paper. She loves to tear it up and because of that we think she is going to be so much fun during Christmas.
Faith is such an amazing puppy and new addition to our family. She really is doing so good and there is never a boring moment with her. Every day is a new experience and it makes everyday with her exciting. We are looking to many more years with her and all the experiences to come. She is so adorable and the perfect new member to our family.
