Recently, I have really been into bullet point journaling and I have been so excited about December’s setup. Obviously, I am thrilled because it’s all Christmas themed. I haven’t done bullet journaling for long but I’ve really been enjoying it. So here is how I set up my bullet journal for this month.
THE COVER PAGE
For the cover page I wanted something Christmas themed but I didn’t want to do the basic tree. Which I actually was going to do at first but then I got the idea to do a fire place with stockings, a fire going and some little Christmas decorations. I did use a fire place doodle from Pinterest to kind of inspire this page. But here is how it turned out.

THE MONTH AT A GLANCE
Still wanting to stay with the Christmas theme for the month at a glance, I made a color pattern for each day of the month. Because this month of December basically covered both pages. To add a little more decoration to the page I added these little gold diamond star things. I also added my monthly notes which I consider to be more important notes which I can find easily.
CHRISTMAS COUNTDOWN
Of course with a Christmas/December theme there needs to be a Christmas countdown. This count down I actually used last year and decided to use it again this year just because it is simple and cute. The count down is just a string of lights I drew into the shape of a Christmas tree. Then I added twenty five light bulbs to color in each day to use for the count down.
BLOG IDEAS
Since this is a blog and I plan my blog post for every month in my bullet journal I use to two pages just for blog post ideas. Because I am posting twice a week during the holidays I used one page for Sunday’s blog post and the other for Wednesday’s post. Its just very simple and easy to use.
INSTAGRAM IDEAS
This is basically the same thing as my blog post ideas. Honestly I got kind of a sloppy decoration on this page. But what I did is drew three rows of Polaroids and I will being using those to write down my instagram ideas.
GIFT IDEAS
Again its Christmas time which means it’s time to go gift shopping. I like to make list of gifts I am getting for everyone. That way I can see what I have bought already and what I still need to buy. For this I drew eight gift boxes big enough to write down the gift ideas with name tags with the names of the people I am buying for.
THE WEEKLY SPREAD
This week’s spread is pretty simple as well like the month at a glance. I just did some simple boxes for the days of the week. Then I added a little quote in the top left corner. That says, It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. I again added the little gold diamond things down the middle and at the bottom of the pages.
So that is my December bullet journal set up. Like I said it’s not something I’ve been doing for long. So, it’s not perfect, but I am going to keep working on it because I do find bullet journaling to actually be very fun. So I hope you are having a great Sunday and enjoyed this post.
