Oh my gosh you guys I can’t believe August is already over; I feel like it just started. But, it is September now and I am ready for Christmas. My Birthday is Christmas day so I’m always ready for Christmas. But my mom has told me more than once now that I can’t put up the tree yet. So since it is not time for Christmas decorating or Christmas post here is my favorites for August 2019.
Poloroid Camera- I know this isn’t a product or clothing item but I am loving my polaroid camera. I recently purchased it about a month ago off Amazon. I did actually purchase the camera alone not in a kit or anything. So it was actually a lot cheaper that way. Then I purchased a film pack off amazon later on. If you have a polaroid camera or planning to purchase one you probably know when you buy the camera in the kit it’s more expensive because it comes with a case for the camera or film/ extra stuff. So buying the camera first then finding a film bundle/pack that you can find for a decent price later on is actually a good way to save some money.
Redken Extreme Anti-Snap Anti-Breakage Leave in Treatment- Wow that was a lot but I have been using this product since I got my hair done in June and I love it. I know I have talked about the It’s a 10 products a lot in the past about how much I love them. I still do love them I just love this Redken product a little more. It makes my hair so so so soft and it smells really good. I think my hair hair actually feels better with this product than the It’s a 10 leave in treatment. Which is why this is my new favorite.
Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream- I love this moisturizer so much and it smells so good. I am so bad about actually using moisturizers but the smell of this one alone makes me want to use it. Also it makes my skin feel so nice and soft. Sadly it is such a small jar of moisturizer, but a little bit really does go along way with this product.
Dote- I’ve never really added apps to my favorites post before but this month I have been loving Dote. Recently especially I have been enjoying posting what I wear everyday. I also like seeing other dote users stories if you don’t use dote then you don’t know what stories are. Dote has a stories page on there app and it’s just a page wear everyone post what they’re wearing. So this is app is not only good for shopping all in one place, but you can also post your own outfits and tag the same or similar items for others to find and buy as well. I do post one outfit a day right now so if you want to see what I’m wearing then this is my Dote user name- jessicadesiena
Generation Clay- This is a ultra violet brightening purple clay mask I got this mask in my summer Fab, Fit, Fun box. I am loving it and have been using every other day or when ever I feel like doing a face mask. I looked up the mask to make sure I had all the benefits and information about this for you. This mask is used to reduce free radical damage and slow the aging process. It boost hydration and collagen production it revitalizes dull tired skin and dulls dark spots. Also it reduces oil and minimizes the appearance of pores. I love this mask because it makes my skin feel so nice, but also you only leave it on for like 10 minutes then its done. So it doesn’t take long to dry at all. It is definitely my favorite mask right now.
Mario Badescu Rose Water Facial Spray- I know I have definitely mentioned this in a few post before but it really is one of my favorites every month. I just love this spray and I have used it so much over the Summer. Especially after I have been out in the heat it feels so nice and refreshing on my skin. I think this spray will always be one of my favorites.
Black Sandals- The black sandals I have are no special pair I got them on sale at JCPennys last year I think. But they have been my go to shoe because they are so easy to slip on and go. Like I said there is nothing special about these sandals. You can literally find a basic black pair of sandals anywhere right now. But having a basic sandal like this in your wardrobe is a very good thing to have.
Mangos- I don’t usually include food on these post either. But, recently I have been obsessed with eating mangos. I’ve always loved mango flavored things like frozen yogurt, italian ice, and popsicles. Recently I have been going for mangos as a snack instead of chips. I will peel and cut it up and eat it right away. Or I will stick in the fridge to chill and snack on it later. But yeah mangos are definitely my go to snack right now.
So that is it for my August favorites and I still can’t believe how fast August has flown by. It’s September and I’m definitely ready for Christmas now. But until it is time for Christmas blog post. I hope you enjoy this blog post of my August favorites for 2019.
