It might still be spring but I am so ready for summer. Especially since I live in Florida and it’s already starting to feel like summer here. So it is time to start on summer blog post; the first one being this summer trends of 2019. So here we go lets find out what is trending for this beautiful season we all love.
Wide leg pants is something I have seen around a lot recently. I do think they are very cute and light wight so perfect for summer weather. Personally I may not be wearing them myself because every time I’ve tried them on they have not looked that great on me. But, on anyone else I’ve see them on they are very cute and stylish for summer.
Barrettes, scrunchies, and my personal favorite hair scarves. I do not own any yet but every hair style I see with one I love it. Also another very big hair accessories trend I have seen everywhere recently is barrettes. I have seen a lot of people hop on this trend on instagram and it is really cute. On other people I do think it is cute and they can pull it off its just not my personal style.
I have seen a lot of this neon trend all over Instagram especially during Coachella. I really don’t know how I feel about it. As a kid I did were a lot of neon colors because it was fun to wear as a kid. I’ve seen people wear neon and look really good and they pull it off. It’s just something I personally would wear now at my age of twenty-two. I want to say congratulations to anyone who can wear neon and look amazing in it. I know if I were to wear something neon it would not look good on me at all.
Multi colored nails is a newer trend I’ve seen more recently. I think it’s cute and you can come up with so many color combinations. Whether it be in the same color but different shades like a gradient pink, or multiple colors like rainbow or even bringing in the neon trend and doing neon multi color nails. This nail trend is super fun and exciting for summer. It’s different but kind of simple at the same time. If you wanted just a color and not a design on your nails then multi color nails is a good way to go.
The belted swim suit is defiantly interesting and I have seen it in a lot of stores recently. It is a cute style but, I don’t know if I would wear one. It’s something I would have to try on before making my final decision about it. But it is different from every other swim suit this season and it’s cute. The swim suit style I’ve been looking at more for this summer is a one shoulder swim suit. Which I think is a little more my style than the belted swim suit.
Maxi dresses are something I’ve always loved I just have a very short torso so I always felt like maxi dresses swallowed me. But I got one from Aerie last year that I love and it actually looks good on me. I feel like these dresses are a bigger trend this year than last year. I’ve defiantly seen them in stores and on Instagram a lot more over the last few weeks than I did last year. I love stuff like this because during the summer with my brothers baseball tournaments, and my nannying I am outside a lot in the heat. Wearing dresses and just light weight clothing is a very good option.
Is leopard print bigger than it was last year… Yes, I think it is. I think leopard print just becomes a bigger trend every year. It is a popular print in pretty much every clothing and accessory item now. Like tops, bottoms, shoes, purses and the list goes on and on. I’ve seen a lot of leopard print dresses lately so I guess that is the style/ trend this year. I remember wearing a ton of leopard print when I was younger. I don’t really know if it is something I would wear now but it is cute.
There are so many more trends this summer and too many to mention. It really depends on what your personal style is to decide which trend you are going to follow. Or if you are going to follow any of these trends this summer. These are just a couple trends I have found online and Pinterest. I don’t know how many I will be trying myself but they are fun to look at. I hope you enjoyed this post and found some summer 2019 trends you maybe didn’t know about.
