APRIL FAVORITES

Before we get into this blog post I want acknowledge that today is Mother’s Day. So Happy Mother’s Day to not only mine but to all the beautiful mothers out there. I hope you are having a great Mother’s Day and are feeling so loved like you should. Now on to the blog post.

It’s May and it feels like this year is flying by. Thats also probably because we are all stuck inside right now with no where to go. But since April is over, it is time for my April Favorites for 2020. Because we are approaching the summer season very very quickly these are summer themed favorites. I haven’t gotten anything new recently so these are things you might have seen in my past Monthly Favorites post. But I still like doing these post so here are my favorites for April.

HAWAIIAN TROPIC SPF 30 SUNSCREEEN

I love this brand of sunscreen and I have been using it for years now. Usually I would use a higher SPF like a SPF 50 but since I really want to get tan this year. I started using the SPF 30 which still gives me the sun protection that I need, but can still get tan at the same time. One of my favorite things about this brand of sunscreen is that it has a bit of shimmer in it. So when you are in the sun it looks like you are sparkling and glowing.

ORANGE AND PINK BEACH BAG

This orange and pink beach bag is so cute. I actually got it at Ulta on sale at the beginning of this year. I love the colors of it because I do have a lot of oranges and pinks in my Instagram theme. It’s great for photos and the colors overall just reminds me of Summer.

OUTER BANKS (NETFLIX SERIES)

Ok if you have not watched Outer Banks yet I definitely recommend that you do. I have already watched it eight times and it is such a good show. If you want a show that gets you in the mood for summer fun then this is the one to watch. I know that there has been talk of there being a season two I just don’t know if its been confirmed yet. But, I’m hoping there is a season two because myself and everyone else that has watched this show wants a season two.

QUAY MY GIRL SUNGLASSES

These sunglasses have been my best friend recently because I have been laying out and tanning more. Now that we are approaching summer it is getting hotter and brighter outside. So, even if I’m not tanning and I’m just outside I usually need these sunglasses. This pair especially has become my go to pair.

DAD HATS

I think I expressed my love for dad hats in a blog post last summer. But these hats are my favorite accessory. I have a good amount of dad hats now but I still want more. Dad hats are so good for when you haven’t washed your hair, or when you’re outside they are very good at keeping the sun out of your face.

BATH & BODY ULTRA SHEA BODY CREAM

I love this lotion from Bath & Body Works. Currently I am using a Christmas one that I got from my older brother and his fiancé for Christmas. But this lotion is so nice to put on after I have shaved or after I lay in the sun. Every year the first time I lay out to tan I usually burn whether I am wearing sunscreen or not. But thankfully after a few days it does fade into a tan and I don’t really burn after that. Sadly, when I did sit out in the sun for the first time this year and I did burn. To keep my skin from peeling like skin does after it’s been burned. I heavily applied this lotion and it has definitely helped. My skin didn’t peel I have a nice tan now and my skin is also super soft.

TOUCH LAND HAND SANITIZER

As we all know hand sanitizer is something we all need to have on us when we go anywhere really. I found the Touch Land hand sanitizers on instagram and loved the look of them. The difference between theses sanitizers and the Bath & Body sanitizers is that the Touch Land ones are a spray and the Bath & Body ones are gel. I love the spray because it is so easy to use and it dries a lot quicker than the gel. This sanitizer is moisturizing so it doesn’t make my hands really dry. I also got the watermelon scent so it smells really good as well. The overall look of the sanitizer is so cute and I absolutely love it.

So that is my April Favorites these are definitely things I am using more since summer is approaching so quickly. I think that these post are so fun to do and to read as I usually find a new product or clothing brand to try, or I find a product I loved before and completely forgot about.
